Publisher's Summary

Emersyn Sharpe doesn’t belong in our world.

In fact, the very last place she should be is with us. But someone is hurting her. We’ve all seen it. We tried to ignore the warning signs. We tried to trust the people around her. We tried to believe in her world.

Too late.

When she nearly died in front of us, we had to act. We took her. She doesn’t belong in our world, but I’ll be damned if someone lays a finger on her under my watch. I’ll kill them first.

Now that she’s here…I don’t know if I can let her leave. I’m Jasper Horan, anyone who tries to take her will have to go through me and my boys. You’ve been warned.

Savage Vandal is a full-length mature college/new-adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This is a reverse-harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest. This is book one in the series.

Great start to the series

This is the first series from Heather that I’ve read. It’s been on my list for awhile, just waiting until I could binge a few of the books.

Savage Vandal is book 1 in the 82 Street Vandals series. A reverse harem dark romance series.

Emersyn is a dancer and lead performer, but there is more to her the meets the eye. On one of her last shows to save her, we took her. Hawk, Kestrel, Falcon and the rest of the Vandals.

Emersyn is sassy and headstrong. She’s lived a life that moulded her to be resilient and strong. The Vandals think they’re protecting her. She’s convinced they’ve kidnapped her for ransom. They all have very different personas but have appear to have a strong bond.

This was a great start to the series. Very much a slow burn. The plot is so thick with mystery and danger, while breadcrumbs are dropped throughout there are still very little answers. It’s so entertaining and gripping, making you need to keep reading.

The cliffhanger will definitely have to needing to dive into book 2, Vicious Rebel.

very slow burn

This was a very long lead up to the second book where hopefully something will happen but I can't be bothered finding out.
Female narrator was fine but one of the voices done by a male narrator was odd.
