Joe Arden doing a Russian accent was a delight to the ears! Both narrators nailed it and I'm a big fan of EV Olsen and this whole series. This one is a dark romance, bi-awakening and opposites attract.

✨ Overall Opinion:
It’s a quick, spicy MM romance - honestly, some people might say too quick, but I enjoyed myself. Yes, there’s childishness. Yes, there are clichés. Yes, the "bully" aspect is minimal before we sprint into insta-love (the storyline spans maybe just over two months). But when I wanted a fast, steamy MM hockey romance (bear in mind the hockey takes a backseat to the romance) this hit the required spot.

The duet narration works well overall, but something to note: yes, it’s duet—but only using the two male narrators. So when a female character speaks, she’s voiced by a male narrator. It wasn’t enough to ruin the experience, but it did pull me out of the moment occasionally. This is just one of my personal audiobook pet peeves, because when I read vs listen, every character has their own voice in my head 😂. Joe Arden and Liam DiCosimo sound great though, and their chemistry makes the story easy to sink into. Who doesn't love a Joe Arden audiobook though 😏

story was... okay. extremely fast paced to the point it felt more spicy lust than 'love'. story was predictable - bonus was some actual hockey!!
