Publisher's Summary

They say all is fair in love and war, but I really don't give a damn about fair. In fact, when protecting those I love, fair is the last thing on my mind. Now that I'm back in Candace's life, those who have used her to try to control me may well put up a final fight, but they will not win. They will lose and badly.

and they lived HEA

I loved this conclusion to the savage trilogy although it killed me waiting for it to be released. Savage was exactly that savage in all the best and worst ways possible and I loved his character. Great narration by Jason and Savannah brought the characters to life.

I want my own Rick Savage!

I have listened to Savage protect others in Lisa’s books and always wanted to know his story. I would highly recommend this trilogy because let’s face it every woman needs a little Savage in her life. I also love Lisa’s way all of Lisa’s characters and her way of story telling. For me it is always nice to know characters that leap from one book to another. Keep up the good work Lisa, I will continue to purchase any book that is written by you. Your imagination and characters make my day more interesting.

Best in the Walker Series

Well written. The plot was well defined and the characters had...well, character 🙃. At first I was concerned about Rick Savage being the romantic, 3 books type of guy having read books from the series. But surprisingly, the story was believable and I loved how Lisa tied in the Walker security team, Adam, Smith and Asher into the drama. Good narration, I love Jason Clarke as Savage, he was the perfect type cast for this role. Honestly, this entire trilogy had my imagination on hyper alert, felt like I was watching a Mission impossible move. Great book!

Final instalment of Savage & Candace story

Lots of action, suspense, love and sex and plenty of bloodshed of bad guys which is too be expected with Rick Savage and the Walker brothers. I liked the character development for both Rick and Candace and the face that she is portrayed as strong and intelligent as well as talented. I think the panty ripping scene was unnecessary and while I appreciate the need for restraint I think given that a pat on the rear drove home the need for discretion she could have gotten away with a kneeing. A few other holes too like the whole big pregnancy concern could have been solved with a simple - got my period- and they started but didn’t finish talks about her designed dream house, a dog, kids. A radically new ring seemed silly also since she loved the design of the original he should have just gotten her a bigger one and why didn’t she tell him she had the original and why didn’t he ask. Also a 5 star kidnapped is hard to believe given attaches and aides. Also who has magical parking spaces everywhere they go in NYC? Didn’t know about a friend named Max so will look for that story and the same with Lila Love. Expected Aaron/Noah to appear to help but lots of other Walker guys did. Really liked the pace of this book. Would have preferred a duet performance because don’t like Savannah Peachwood’s male voice and We could have had more Jason Clark but I highly recommend this. Too bad part 1 & 2 weren’t edited better and combined because it would have made a fine duet book but the trilogy had too much filler in the first 2 books. This one was however well worth the credit. Looking forward to more like this part of the story from the author.

The Savage Trilogy...better as a duet

This review is of the Savage Trilogy and not just Savage Love. I have an Audible Escape Membership and didn't buy the books. I thought the trilogy was 6 hours too long. and I'm glad I didn't buy or use credits. My overall review of the books in the trilogy: Savage Hunger Book 1- 4 stars Savage Burn Book 2 - 3 stars Savage Love Book 3 - 2 stars I read some of the reviews on the trilogy before starting it and now agree with several reviewers who felt that the story became redundant in the second book, Savage Burn. By the third book, Savage Love, I was fast-forwarding through most chapters to find out the "who-done-it" involvement in the assassination plot. It was over the top and all kinds of boring with the introduction of minor characters and subplots that went absolutely nowhere. The constant walks down memory lane for both characters especially about their mothers became filler info. The sex was the right amount of hot and steamy in books 1 and 2 but the same angry sex to tired lovemaking chapters bogged the storyline. The theme/conflicts in the romance parts of the plot were OVERDONE throughout the ENTIRE trilogy. Candance not trusting Rick to leave her again and Rick worrying that his mercenary past would push Candace away was immature and the petulant behaviors from both characters that didn't make sense most of the time. Though I usually like the alpha-male military, savior personalities coupled with bad-ass women who match their alpha skillsets; this trilogy was way too similar to other romance/erotica novels based on navy seal characters. This is a trilogy I would skip.

Better than the first two!

I’m happy to say that the final installment of this series was better than the first two and a fitting way to bring Candace and Savage’s love story to a perfect ending. The WalkerTeam has a huge presence in this book and Savage needs all the help he can get to tie up all the loose ends and destroy his enemies and the deadly assassins who are after him and Candace. This trilogy would have been better served if it had been edited to two longer books but I have mentioned that before. I enjoyed the narration throughout the entire series.

Same as the fist two

As with the first two parts of this "trilogy", it's not. It's just the ending thrid of a 16hr book. The story was a little better, it kept me on the edge of my seat a little, the female narrator's male dialog was still very jarring. While I won't be rushing to pick up any more books by this author, I won't be avoiding them either.

Can’t get enough

Even though after reading many of her books I can’t get enough. The only thing that drives me crazy is the damsel in distress, the caveman in all the male characters, and the emphasis on being small slender and perfect in order to be a perfect woman. Very good story lines really kept me on edge not wanting the story to end.

This gave me goosebumps and chills

Savage and Candace finish the way their story began, at a dead run and i willingly stayed the race. The danger crecendoes as all the players are revealed. I absolutely LOVED the quick appearance of Cane Mendez and (squee!!!) Lilah effin Love. I can't wait to see where Lisa Renee Jones takes me next!

A Romance Covered in Blood

Ok, great story/plot and action. Trained killer set apart from his true love by no other than someone who she respects dearly, a trained group of killers working for the greater good. The love making was steamy but a bit repetitive to the point of "uh again with the pert ni**ples". To make up for that I appreciated the twisting moments, however it was on the cusp of being too much with the main characters. The narrators both male and female voices were dragging on the words and seemed on the verge of crying most of the time. They were more believable narrating the other characters in the story.
