Emily just wants to keep the world away.

After getting into trouble yet again, she's agreed to attend anger management classes. But she refuses to share her deepest secrets with a room full of strangers.

Jake just wants to keep his family together.

He'll do anything to save his marriage and bond with his six-year-old son, Alfie. But when he's paired with spiky Emily, he wonders whether opening up will do more harm than good.

The two of them couldn't be more different. Yet when Alfie, who never likes strangers, meets Emily, something extraordinary happens.

Could one small boy change everything?

I loved the characters and the narration really enjoyed the story line and at some points found my self so engaged with the story I would be willing for them to make the right decision ❤️

Absolutly adored this book!!! Oh my was i so invested in the characters and how they were represented and that it didn't follow a typical character Arc/trope and make the wife out to be a villian! But instead relatable married struggles 100% felt every high and lows that they went through.

I adore Josh Dylan narrating, I loved him in road trip. So i could listen to him all day!
this was a story I couldn't put down I had to listen at every waking minute!

You won't be disappointed !
