I love sibby I loved her in haunting adaline 1 & 2 there something I adore about her with her child like mind but her goal to rid the world of evil. I love the creepiness of singing lullabies while hunting her prey. She’s captivating.

This is a super quick listen for Sibels side following hunting Adeline. It’s not a must but it nice for those wanting a little more back story

Held my attention from start to finish with a wonderful surprise ending that I would happily dive into a second time.

The audiobook really should come with content warnings. I expected the smut but not the violence (I expected violence, just not quite so graphic and drawn out).

The story was interesting but could have been fleshed out a bit more, I prefer a bit more suspense in erotic stories. If it was a longer audiobook with maybe 50-60% content being story I would give it a higher rating, I think Sibby’s character and background were not explored enough.

Only downloaded this as a prequel recommendation to another book and wish I hadn't. Did not enjoy it whatsoever and now I'm worried about the other books. Might have a break in between.

First time ever that I considered to DNF an Audible AND it being a H.D Carlton book. I simply was not prepared on how unhinged Sibby was and the gore and themes of this was next level. I have listened to some pretty unhinged MMC but Sibby takes the cake for being next level unhinged and I’m glad I listened to the end. Please please check your trigger warnings for this one. I only gave this 3 stars overall as even though I love dark romance I think this was definitely getting to the limit of what I am able to listen to.

This one was a very slow burn for me. I was confused and left with SO many questions.
However, SO glad i was recommended to start with Satan's Affair before diving into the Cat and Mouse Duet.
Your questions will get answered and it's such an important prequel that needs to be read first!!

I need more, sibby! I started satans affair and switched to haunting A - so I yes it did give the spoiler away but it didn’t ruin it - the disassociated state she goes into is so intriguing- even Zade was impressed with her energy and strength. Definitely need more Sibby!
