About this listen
For Sarah Tilghman, life growing up on a farm in the latter 1800s is shadowed in sorrow following the loss of her baby brother. The arrival of spring is beginning to lighten her spirits and help her heal. When her father brings home a rabbit, Sarah’s spirits are lifted even higher. Elizabeth the rabbit, though, is afraid. In the farm shed, she is frantic for her babies, desperate to know if they’re safe without her. She must get back to them.
Grieving and lonely, Sarah is moved by compassion for this trapped bunny and is blessed in a miraculous way at Eastertide. Sarah, who has a very young but godly heart, becomes bonded forever with Elizabeth, a special rabbit in a very long line of special rabbits!
