this had cute moments but there were some things that just felt a bit rushed through where i think we should’ve focused on them a little more. i would’ve liked to see a little more insight with her dad especially since she saw him for the first time in years ??? i wanna know how she felt!! the romance was sweet between these two though, it saved this book for the most part.

This is my first Tessa Bailey and I'll definitely come back for more. I enjoyed the emotions and the character growth. The spice level was great and it was a good, quick read. The narrators were both great.

If you like an obsessed fictional man who's a simp for his girl, check this out! I listened in just a few hours, and Sumner was so so patient with Britta because he knew what they had was a forever thing. It just took her longer to realise it. The book also features a couple of Tessa's signature spicy scenes!
