Loved the banter between the cops & their characters. Was hoping there would be more stories involving these two. A sad suicide of a lovable young boy.

I loved the meeting of the minds between the main characters. The character arcs were newer understandings were so well written. This was a great story to listen to. I enjoyed it immensely.
The narration was good too, though I reduced the speed half a degree to capture the nuances.
The killer was an interesting one. I’d love to read more from this universe.

I am struggling to finish the story the characters don't have the same depth and breadth of connection that is usual Nora Roberts novels. will preservere as I have the utmost respect for the author in particular for her in death series.
