Rzeźnikowi z Niebuszewa, dzielnicy Szczecina, przypisano potworne zbrodnie. Zwłoki swoich ofiar wywoził do opuszczonego gmachu magazynów późniejszej szkoły rolniczej. Tam przerabiał je na mięso.Po spuszczeniu wody w stawie przy ulicy Słowackiego odnaleziono kilkadziesiąt ludzkich czaszek, przeważnie dzieci. Rzeźnikowi udowodniono jednak tylko jedno morderstwo.
Został skazany na karę śmierci. Wyrok na Józefie Cyppku wykonano 3 listopada 1952 rokuo godzinie 17.45. Do końca nie okazał skruchy. W miejscu, w którym mieszkał Rzeźnik z Niebuszewa, do dziś nikt nie mieszka.
