This didn't start off well for me, I *cringed* at the narrators Australian accent. Was glad that it didn't continue and popped up at again only at the end. Ooof I shuddered!! I do like this narrator for the most part and have listened to him in other books but overall there was something off here.
Maybe it was the story?
I really struggled with that too. There were moments when it was interesting but I felt like there was many gaps, many unnecessary parts and a lot of predictable incidents that just made it all seem messy.
Which is a shame cos I do like this author.
