About this listen
Harlow Hayes: the innocent pop star - or a heartless murderer? It's time to find out...
I’m a global sensation adored by millions, and my star only seems to keep rising.
My fans say I speak directly to them through my music, that I know who they are. How else could I write such visceral, personal lyrics? They love me, and I love them right back.
Then, at the height of my fame, I was arrested on suspicion of murder.
The world thinks they know who I am.
But they have no idea.

Harlow Hayes is a famous pop star at the top of her game, until she is accused of murder. But why would someone in this kind of spotlight commit such a crime?? Celebrity journalist Naomi Barnes becomes obsessed with this case and is on a mission to find out the truth at what ever cost.
There is so much happening in this book I was so engrossed in it. The book is told between narrative, online articles, lyrics and the hype of social media. Although this felt a little much at the start, trust me keep me with it, its completely worth it in the end. Every time I thought I had worked out the mystery, the book took a turn in a completely different direction.
The way the authors sprinkled the Easter throughout eggs was so good. The secret messages in the lyrics was such a good touch and I love the way the book continued to unfold.
So many twist and turns, gasping moments and conspiracy theory’s. One of my favourite thrillers of the year!
So many twists and turns to keep you on edge
