This is the second book of the series and LJ Shen has again brought a tear jerker amongst chaos and love. The characters had unique personalities that show strength and determination through heart breaking circumstances, both as individuals and as a pair. A really beautiful story full of depth.

Rosie and Dean almost fall into the forbidden romance zone, from a childhood crush that never turned to anything more, because Dean dated Rosie’s sister and then their paths didn’t cross again.

But now…it’s their moment. Left in New York without her sister in the city anymore and living in the same building, their close encounters have been building for the past year and of course Dean is Rosie’s landlord. Which means it’s time for their attraction to finally explode into passion.

However, they rash have secrets and the twist in this story was nothing that I expected!
