From the first few sentences the narrator’s style grated. The pause after each sentence and repetitive tone was grating and extremely annoying, I should have listened to the sample before I purchased the audiobook.

This book had me enthralled from start to finish. The ending was unexpected and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but I didn’t think I would be on the side of the criminals. Lynda La Plant is an extraordinary author, she never disappoints.
