Rotkäppchen ist ein kleines Mädchen, das einst von seiner Großmutter eine rote Kappe geschenkt bekam und fortan so genannt wurde. Weil es ihrer Großmutter nicht besonders gut geht, macht sich Rotkäppchen eines Tages durch den dunklen Wald auf den Weg zu ihr, um ihr Kuchen und Wein zu bringen. Zwar warnte ihre Mutter sie davor, vom Weg abzukommen. Doch nach einem Gespräch mit einem Wolf, der sie auf die schönsten Blumen auf einer naheliegenden Wiese aufmerksam macht, kann Rotkäppchen nicht anders und verlässt ihren Pfad, um Blumen für die Großmutter zu pflücken. Dabei ahnt sie nicht, dass der Wolf sie ausgehorcht und einen bösen Plan ausheckt hat...
