Summary

Loved listening to this book and Teddy Hamilton is one of my favourite narrators. I love that different parts are voiced by different men. But missed opportunity in when it was Kieran speaking, Roderick’s responses were ready by Stephen rather than Teddy.

I enjoyed this book but found it quite stressful at times to listen to with how poorly their families treated them and how long it took them to connect to each other. Probably not quite enough romance for me but still a very solid 4 stars. The narrators were incredible.

I haven’t read a Sarina Bowen book I haven’t loved and this is no exception. Out of money, job, home, and a relationship, Roderick returns to his hometown looking for a new start. Kieran still blushes when he remembers Roderick from high school, so he’s not thrilled to see him back in town. Sarina refreshes the enemies-to-lovers and straight roommate tropes with well-rounded, loveable characters and a juicy plot with some great story arcs. Add the superlative narrative talents of Teddy Hamilton and Stephen Dexter and you’ve got the perfect recipe for happiness. I loved every moment!
