So loved this story. Of a second chance that they just couldn’t let go of. Mis understandings in the past that had them parting. Once they both knew the truth nothing could stop them from being together.
Narration was awesome too.

hot and steamy was absent unlike her true north series.
it was slow moving as first, this could have been avoided with more snippets of the past being mentioned and answered.
. it was a pretty deep event that occurred to affect both hero and heroine but the depth written to encompass the emotion needed, in my opinion was missing.
I liked the narrator's and rock gave Leo that very easy going personality but I feel he didn't quite pull off the event that affected him all that well....he seemed to jovial and easy come easy go.....
don't think I'll try any more.

I really liked Georgia and Leo and the secondary characters. It was a sweet romance with a bit of spice and the friendships with the secondary characters relatable. I love a strong independent working girl who is comfortable in her own skin, flaws and all. It was an easy to listen on Audible that made me want to keep listening to. I have no doubt I'll listen to it again.

I've listened to a few of the later books in this series and it's like they're written by someone completely different. Good for SB that she has grown and improved as an author, and I'm grateful I started with later books cos this one for me is a dnf. When the entire plot could be solved by two adults pulling their heads out and having a grown up conversation I can not bear over ten hours of whining instead.
