Lighthearted, whimsical, not too silly or crazy (just enough). I enjoyed the enthusiasm and uniqueness of Jane, and thought the narrator did a really good job of portraying that without going over the top. Yes it is a murder mystery, but that’s just background for main entertainment of Jane and her growing friendship group.
