Gern will ich gestehen, meine Abreise von Neapel machte mir einige Pein; nicht sowohl die herrliche Gegend als eine gewaltige Lava hinter mir lassend, die von dem Gipfel aus ihren Weg nach dem Meere zu nahm, die ich wohl hätte in der Nähe betrachten, deren Art und Weise, von der man so viel gelesen und erzählt hat, ich in meine Erfahrungen hätte mit aufnehmen sollen.
