About this listen

As a Rock Chick, Shirleen Jackson lived through all the kidnappings and explosions. Along the way, she also watched the dramatic love stories that came with those rides unfold.

But long ago, Shirleen made her choice. It affected who she was and would always be. She decided to settle for what she had and not want more. She had good friends. She was raising two fine young men who weren't hers, but she loved them anyway. She was good.

And then Moses Richardson crashed into her life, literally...and deliberately. Moses has different ideas about Shirleen. He's more interested in the Shirleen of now, mostly because she's interesting. And funny. And loyal. Smart. Beautiful.

But Moses has a big challenge on his hands.

He has to convince Shirleen of all that.

And then convince her she deserves to have more.

Love Kristen Ashley and listened to most of her books several times. Loved hearing Shirleen’s story and always love the characters who make appearances from her other series. Like the narrator. Great listen 👍

Loved the catch up

Loved the story, loved the narrator and can’t wait for the next generation stories of Roam and Moses daughter if it ever comes. Kristen writes so well even when this is a short story. It compares brilliantly to her other great reads/audible books. Rock on!

beautiful story. I have to say i loved it. But i found it to be a bit short, i really did wish it was longer. The narrator was great as always. And i have to say i was sad it was the end of a great series

As a big fan of Kristen Ashley and avid "reader/listener" of her audio books l cannot understand why after writing a series of ten books she would change the narrator of the last book from Susannah Jones to Nichole Small. Every character sounded wrong, just couldn't listen to it, after the first chapter. This is nothing against the narrator Nichole Small but l could not get my head around the characters after listening to Susannah's narration of them for aprox 133 hours, theres no way they can sound the same, power, vitality, warmth and energy as they did in previous books.
Luckily audible exchanges books if your not happy with a book you have bought an this is one that I'd definitely going to return.

They say you save the best for last, well disappointing to say the least
