Publisher's Summary
Readers and listeners were first introduced to Jason Bourne's nemesis Leonid Arkadin, a brilliant Russian assassin and fearless international mercenary, in The Bourne Sanction. His girlfriend was killed during a fight for which an enraged Arkadin blames Bourne. In The Bourne Deception, Arkadin hunted Bourne to take revenge and kill him. Bourne, in a fight for his life, learned that Arkadin's skills mirror Jason's because he received the same original CIA Treadstone training.
Now, in The Bourne Objective, Jason will turn the tables and target Arkadin. Hunter will become hunted.
But revenge can cause great psychological devastation. Has this become too personal for Bourne? Will this hunt be Bourne's downfall?

Overall disappointing
Maybe I over-enjoyed the previous Bourne's. Maybe the moon wasn't right. Maybe Scott Sowers' enthusiasm and funny accents finally began to irritate me. Other Bourne editions were thrilling. But this edition disappointed me. Just too much, too many twists, too many narrow escapes. The story wasn't compelling and even turned a bit Steve Berry/Dan Brown-ish with ancient mysteries and treasures. Bad ones, too. Eric van Lustbader, thanks for your effort but my cup is full. Please send out a bulletin and either let the man die or better, let him have his peace, let him marry the girl, make babies and build the house with the white picket fence. It's enough.

Dissapointing and I didn't like the narration
Having listened to The Bourne Legacy by the same author I was disaapointed by this book. I'm not 100% sure if it was the narration that put me off but I could never get into this book because of it. This book is trying to be more like a Dan brown Davinci code but it just doesn't work. I would whole heartedly recommend his other book though and give suggest you give this one a miss.

Actors voice is distracting
Unlike other reviewers i thought the story was as good as the others, but the actors gravelly voice was distracting. The voices of the different characters were hard to distinguish. Also the music in the last few stories have been annoying and unnecessary
