Throughly enjoyed the characters, the building of them all and the amazing knowledge of the nature and forest life.
A twist at the end had tears streaming down my face. Excellent story

Classic Nora Roberts romantic suspense. Took me a while to get invested, but it really picked up when it got to the main plot.

corny and predictable love story and not alot else really happened. I kept expecting it to actually go somewhere and become more interesting but it just didn't.
Additionally, romanticising a main character male who is a red flag, is tone deaf in the mid 2020's.
I also couldn't stand the narration. The main character sounded like a 40s silver screen actress, not a supposed strong modern woman and the other characters weren't much better.

So cliche, not one of Nora Roberts' best
