I loved Hanna’s evolution through the story. The character Death was yum. I love how he developed as a character.

The story was beautifully written and captured my attention from the beginning. Definitely will be reading book 2 in the series.

normallybi don't like it when voice actors voice characters not of their gender but Jo does an AMAZING job voicing a range of characters.

I really enjoyed this kooky and sexy fantasy novel. The world building was great and the characters were hilarious. A twist on the usual plus the protagonist is a very modern young woman from California so it adds a different spin on things. I’ll definitely reach for the second book as it ends on a cliff hanger.

OMG! This really is awesome! Such a great storyline paired with the most amazing narration makes for one of my all time favourite listens. Ends on a cliffhanger though so seriously hoping Book 2 in series is ready to go. Cannot recommend highly enough.
