Summary

Very good police and romance book. I read this series when it first came out and also listened to the audiobooks when they were released. I'm now re-listening to them all over again. Andreas Ruffner and Darren Corliss are such a great pair - one a loner in the force, who some think is crooked, the other a newbie assigned to Ruffner to report back to IA. Lots of gathering of information and discovering corruption behind illicit drugs. My heart always breaks when I think about Asher. :(
Michael Ferraiuolo is his usual perfection in bringing the characters and world to life.
