Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommend this to all people who love this genre. I just couldn't stop listening. Although the theme is quite familiar, it has all the elements to present it in a fresh way.

What other book might you compare Risen to, and why?

I can with honesty compare this to the AD Chronicle series of Brodie and Brock Thoene.

Have you listened to any of P. J. Owen and Alana Kerr ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

The presentation by PJ Owen and Alana Kerr is excellent, they totally draw you into this human drama.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The last couple of chapters made me again consider what love really is, and I thought it was beautifully written.

This is a must read. I wanted to give it five stars, but nothing on earth is perfect, and 4.8 was not a doable option.

Angela Hunt has got it! This is a fantastic novel riding along side the Bible so closely. Well done! I enjoyed hearing more from the males in the story. Narration of them was really good. Thank you.

I felt quite moved and touched by the way the readers invoked the realisation of what could have been experienced by the two main characters and how they were challenged by faith in their desire to know more.
