An Amazing Tale

I absolutely loved this book. It was a great story and exceptionally well read. What a lovely setting. I felt pity for Rip in the beginning, and felt sorrow for him in the end.

Well Read

Nice to hear the original story. I watched the Wishbone episode on PBS years prior but had never read it's origin. I wish they could somehow bring Wishbone back.

Wonderful Classic

The narration was enjoyable and you can't beet a classic Washington Irving story. The cost was inexpensive. Quick listen of an american classic.

Good short story

I really enjoy Washington Irving's writing. It's rich in detail and recalls a time that seems so much simpler.

B.J. Harrison is an excellent narrator for these kinds of stories. And he seems to enjoy his work, which makes listening to it that much nicer.

classic story rarely heard.

I purchased this classic tale along with the narration.
I had always known of a long sleep by Vanwinkle. But had never known the complete story.
knowing now it is indeed a classic interwoven with the birth of our nation.
you might like it as well.

Not worth my time.

As short as this was, it truly was not worth my time. if I hadn't been sitting in traffic, I wouldn't have bothered listening, but I figured I would just give it a try.
