Soooooo Good!!!!!!!!

Finally!!!! I've read this series & all books that follow & loved them!! I'm so excited that they're coming to audio!!!!! *Noah was 11 years old when his stepdad & his boss killed his mom & kidnapped him. He met Mac when he was 17, when the compound he was living at got raided by the FBI, US Marshalls & other law enforcement agencies. Mac stayed with him for 2 years until a tragedy happens & Mac feels like he can't take care of Noah & steps back. 5 years later Noah is "Ghost" in a special team called Phoenix. The past has caught up with them & there's a mole in the Marshalls office.* Tristan James did an amazing job of bringing Mac & Noah to life!!!!!!!

Great start to a fantastic series!

I love this series and this opening book is fantastic. It does a great job both in introducing the MCs and in world building/introducing secondary characters.

Noah and Mac are great MCs...you really root for and agonize with both of them. The story is well developed and the action is tense and exciting.

Tristan James is one of my favorite narrators/performers and this book is no exception. It’s a great listen!

Great start to a series!

I’ve been looking forward to listening to this. It’s my first Reese Knightley book.

I have to say, I had to get used to her style of writing and had to check with the ebook sometimes, just to make sure that I didn’t miss anything, when the story would seemingly jump. It was the time frame that did that to me. Once I got used to it, my listening experience went smoother.

I like the way how she wrote Mac and Noah’s love story. It spanned years, and while there was already chemistry and love budding in the early years, the two didn’t actually came together until Noah had grown to his own. It took away the age factor difference between them.

It’s an intense story, might trigger some. But to me, I admire Noah, how he rose up from his horrible past and became a bad@ass lethal hero.

The supporting characters are great too. I can’t wait to get to know more about them.

Tristan James’ narration was on point.

Great book to listen for those who enjoy alpha males, law enforcement officers with a integrity and loyalty. 💙

An all time fave

This book blew me away. Mac and Noah are a new favorite couple. I bought the rest of the series before I was done with this one and have no regrets. Not only is this book plotted perfectly but so is the overall plot of the entire series. If you’re a fan of thrillersand age gap romances you should check out this book.

Great series start

If you want to be grabbed from the first sentence and not let go Ricochet does that. Combined with action, suspense, romance and with fantastic narration made this 5 stars for me. I can’t wait to hear the second book.

This book is so great

Meet Mac and Noah...
Mac is a US Marshall, hardened and scarred by his time serving his country...
Noah is a victim rescued by Mac's team... He was a witness, scared, in hiding...
These two met in a frightful situation... Noah had two options, to run or to trust that this stranger would really help and rescue him!
Their attraction is imediate, but Noah is so young, and under Mac protection... All Mac could do was to get away and give Noah his freedom... But to be far away doesn't mean to forget...
Noah's past ends up bringing them together years later... and now none one them were willing to walk alway...
This book got me hooked from page one... Reese did a wonderful job in this debut .
Loved the narration

A Fantastic must listen series

5 Blue Roses
4 Blue Flames

Narrator Tristan James executed this delivery with a superbly well-rounded performance, filled with dramatic tension, vulnerable moments and exceptional mm romance.

O my goodness, this was good, I immediately moved onto book 2.

The plot is extremely well planned and developed. It’s mainly about a boy, Noah, who was raised by drug lords after they murdered his mother. He was heavily abused physically and emotionally. When he was 17 years old, he was rescued by US Marshal, Mac.

But, then it fast forwards to almost 10 years. Noah is a deadly secret agent who is highly intelligent, speaks multiple languages and was recruited by an agency Phoenix who functions above the CIA.

The character development and world building was thoroughly created. This plot has so many strings, the author held onto them and pulled them just tight enough to hold my attention. I loved the main characters, they intrigued me, and also loved each other so deeply.

I definitely recommend this audiobook. This series is a winner!

Happy Listening

A overwritten and complicated novel

The audio performance is the better part of this overwritten and complicated book. The story opens up many possible directions but the author always follows the most conventional option.
