I hope this is the start of long series. The depth of the writing places this in the top of bracket. i most enjoyed Hannah and Sarah, the female DS and DC who bring a more contemporary feel to the classic police procedural dynamic.
Colin Mace is one of the best readers around so this is a very strong offering all round.

Love this narrator so I thought I’d give this book a listen. Colin was perfect as always. Great plot and characters. Extremely well written with twists and turns. Great pace and really engaging. I listened to it at 1.4X and it was wonderful. Definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to the next in the series.

A rollicking good ride, and the best cliff edge ending I’ve experienced for a while. Narration awesome, I can’t wait for the next book to come out
