Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki are both concerned. Their concern is that the rich are getting richer, but America is getting poorer. The entitlement mentality is epidemic, creating people who expect their country, employer, or family to take care of them. And like the polar ice caps, the middle class is disappearing. America is becoming a two-class society, and soon you will be either rich or poor. Trump and Kiyosaki want you to be rich.

Many Americans dream of financial freedom, but they're stuck in dead-end jobs and don't know how to get there. You don't need to be one of them. If you invested $35,000 in the stock market today, it could take 52 years for that investment to grow to $1 million. But if you invested that same amount into one single-family $140,000 rental property, it would only take 19 years. With just two rental properties, you could generate $417,000 in profit in just 10 years. Skeptical?

Publisher's Summary
Many of our global economic problems started in 1971...when President Richard Nixon took the U.S. off the gold standard. Throughout history, when a government went off the gold standard, an age of turbulence began.
In 1997, Robert's book Rich Dad Poor Dad stunned readers stating, "Your house is not an asset." As howls of protest went up around the world, the book went on to become an international bestseller and the #1 personal finance book of all time.
Rich Dad Poor Dad is not a book on real estate. It is a book about the importance of financial education. Rich Dad Poor Dad was written to prepare you and your loved ones for the financial turbulence Robert's rich dad saw coming.
In 2007, as homes declined in value or were lost to foreclosure, millions of homeowners painfully discovered the wisdom of words of Robert's rich dad. Today we are all aware that a home can be a liability. Today we know a home can go up or down in value. Today we all know a person can lose money investing in the stock market. Today we all know our money can go down in value and that even savers can be losers.
This is why financial intelligence is more important today than ever before. In a world of financial turbulence, your best asset is financial IQ.

Fluffy bags of air and stories
If there were a way to give this book zero Stars I would have. If you've read any of the previous books there is no need to purchase this one. This book is filled with fluffy stories and no content. I was all in good rich dad poor dad, I even purchased the game. When I say this book is a total waste of time, it really is. It just repeats old stories and information from previous books. Over and over again drawn out stories apparently in the attempt to make the book longer. Some may have caught the fact that I said the same thing in three different ways; now you know what it's like to read this repertory book.

Should be required listening
Would you consider the audio edition of Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ to be better than the print version?
This is the type off book that is probably better in written form but only because of the need to stop regularly to write notes and examine diagrams. There is so much useful information in this book that I found myself having to stop the program to give myself reminders and write down ideas - a little bit annoying with the audio, but at least one can pick up right where one left off.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ?
It is filled with "aha!" moments - times when something that Kiyosaki says just makes sense of something in the world. I lost count of the number of these as I listened to this book on a long drive.
What about Tim Wheeler’s performance did you like?
Tim was clear and easy to understand and didn't become boring - even after nine hours of listening.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Become smarter about money.
Any additional comments?
This book should be required listening.

Simple, clear, succinct and logical..
I love this book. Robert's no BS approach to money paved the way for me to leave my job, start a business, and increase my income. No college degree, rich family, or privilege—quite the opposite. Empowered by the information in this book, and others like it, I made a decision to break the line of poverty that ran through my family and to develop the character and humility to learn from my mistakes. Above all, this book taught me: My poverty is my fault and my choice. And because I know that I can now choose otherwise. Thank you for your sacrifices and hard work, Mr. Kiyosaki. Men like you are the reason our society will continue to prosper. I look forward to one day thanking you in person. ~Greg W.

Summary - Repeated material from his first book
Would you try another book written by Robert T. Kiyosaki or narrated by Tim Wheeler?
After reading his first book and many others. I have decided to ignore all other books Robert Kiyosaki releases. He is clearly taking his own advise and milking the brand to produce rents from his ownership of copyright.
What will your next listen be?
Mastery by Robert Greene
Would you listen to another book narrated by Tim Wheeler?
yes
What character would you cut from Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ?
none
Any additional comments?
I own most of his books. I already have the mind set and behaviour he teaches prior to reading all his books. If your financially illiterate, it’s enough to read his first book Rich Dad Poor Dad (Unabridged)

Great for rich investors; not so good for others
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
After listening to rich dad, poor dad I had high expectations of this book.It did not really work out for he is primarily singing the praises of full time investing into real estate (buying apartments and renting them out; not shares in a portfolio). Great if you have time and money to do that but I am more looking for ways to invest modest monthly sums in addition to my day job and this does not help me much
Would you recommend Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ to your friends? Why or why not?
No, but still recommend rich dad, ppoor dad
Did Rich Dad's Increase Your Financial IQ inspire you to do anything?
no
