I felt this book in my soul, I felt the hurt, the pain and the grief so deep down in my soul but man was it also a beautifully feel good book. That goes down the Kat being an absolutely amazing author, this is my first book buy her but she has fully cemented her self in an auto buy author for me. There was so many moments where I was angry at the characters but also whole heartedly obsessed with them and their feelings including all the angst and laughs happening all at the same time. I am so ready for the next book like now! I absolutely adore books that make me feel something but I also love realistic connections and relationships (I don't really need a lot of plot).
Cade and Mare's love story was beautiful, it was such a treat to watch their love grow from childhood to adulthood. I loved the past and present chapters it was such a good way of story telling and I was equally invested in the flashbacks as the present. You also get that moment when all the tension and awkwardness bubbles and finally breaks through the surface and my good was it fantastic. I will say to again absolutely swoony with hot spice.
Cade, what can I say about this man. Dirty mouth, backwards cap cowboy that also wears a cowboy hat and respects his woman, SAY LESS. He is sweet and a grumpy and good does he deliver in more ways than one (definitely a top their book boyfriend for me).
You know how the say spoilers without context here are my words; a tattoo, a house with a view and marigolds. This book will be reread again this year for sure and goes into my 'I will hear no critics' pile.

I loved this book, and these two characters had great soul mate energy. The hate and tension between them at the start were fantastic. When they started communicating, yelling, and crying at each other, it’s my kryptonite. To have a love so strong and fighting for it was beautiful. Everything that man did was beautiful. The house, tattoo, and the mouth on Cade were illegal. I’m very excited for the next book as the snippets of Pippa and Camden in the book had me laughing, and I can already feel the tension. Loved this book!
