Captivating

This was a captivating, romantic story. The story has some good twists and turns and keeps you wondering what will happen. It was wonderful to see Lizzie’s close friendship with Jack’s brother Charlie and how both Jack and Lizzie strive to help Charlie get through the grief of losing his wife. Jack tends to shy away from relationships and Lizzie is still hurting from a lost love. However Charlie would like to get them together. Of course there is an antagonist who mucks things up for the couple. I really enjoyed this lovely romance, though would have appreciated an epilogue at the end as it ends quite suddenly once they finally do get together. Ted Brooks did an excellent job with all the voices and emotions and made the listening experience enjoyable.
