About this listen

Five hundred years of fighting demons and humanity has been pushed to the brink of extinction. As the last bastion of the remaining humans is shattered, Bran Heros, the Wandering King, decides to enact a last ditch effort.

He’s going to send his soul back in time to two years before the demon invasion comes to earth.

This time when the demons first come he’s going to be waiting. He might not be as strong as he was in his past life, but he has something far more important. He has time to get ready for what’s to come and the knowledge to take advantage of every second.

Bran is going to use his second chance to gobble up resources and make himself as well as those he chooses a force to be reckoned with.

For now, that means starting all over at level one again.

not my usual type of book, but awesome

ok, so first up this book has graphic scenes of an adult nature. I'm sure a lot of people read this author's work for this, and for them it's a plus. It wasn't really my cup of tea, but honestly the story is so good it might just be worth checking out even if that stuff isn't for you either. All of it came after the 50% mark, so don't be worried about checking out the first couple of chapters if you want to make up your own mind.

Brief story: in a world invaded by demons, the last man standing sends himself back 500 years to just before the war began and tries to stop it. Along the way he meets some sexy women.

It's honestly an A Class story. The kind that if the adult scenes were toned down a little would be an instant mainstream best seller. -- It's that good -- Action is awesome, world building is awesome, the writing is awesome. The MC is a bit of an alpha dick. He's always on about protecting what is his (usually a woman) and he's got *very* loose morals about killing, but I could ignore that. It's a gripping story, with (shock! horror!) actually justifiable harem elements. It's... weirdly awesome.

I don't think I'll continue the series just because harem isn't my thing, but if it is... this, my friend, is your shining light. The book all other harems should be held up to.
