I had to bail on this book halfway through. The American narrator's natural/ normal voice is fine, but his attempts at British accents were so bad I could barely concentrate on the plot it was so terrible. Even his regional US accents (eg Boston) were pretty off. If half the characters are British get someone who can do a British accent!

An old favourite. A serious attempt to portray an America after the Cuban Missile Crisis escalated to a nuclear war. Obviously it's speculation but it's well researched speculation.
