It felt rushed and fell desperately flat and I was left feeling terribly unsettled and disappointed. I understand the emotional choice that was made, but it felt like Luc let his team down after all their support, and I found myself wishing Jesse had encouraged him to return to the field and fulfil the dream he’d worked towards all season. Loyalty and integrity matter to me, and I couldn’t help thinking that if the situation had been reversed, Jesse wouldn’t have walked away from his band in the same way.
