The characters were ok but the storyline a bit boring. And how many mob men would treat a woman the way Luke does. Unrealistic.

If Consent Kink is your thing then run away from this book. I should've. I should've stopped but it was kinda like a train wreck and I couldn't turn away- sorry to the authors.
Grace was incredibly frustrating. She had a massive moral high horse that she wouldn't come down from. She couldn't comprehend that for her to survive than the bad people had to die. Majority of people can justify that but Grace could not.
Luke didn't take no for an answer, so he basically raped her and justified it by saying her body wanted it, instead of actually talking to her and getting to know her again. *sigh*
Also, I haven't read the rest of the series and didn't really get any back story for these 2. That must've happened in one of the other books.

I'm not sure about the narrators, they didn't seem to mesh for me. The female created angst and drama but the male voice was so laid back he didn't really fit the Mafia persona.

I'm sorry I didn't like it.
