About this listen

To keep the people she loves safe, Sara left everything she knew behind. She soon learns this new world is nothing like her old one, and she struggles to make a place for herself among the Mohiri. narrator works well with the character. it's a bit young adult compared to what I read but it's a nice change. the heroine sinks back in to the pity party a bit too much and I have to grit my teeth but then it keeps Rollin along.

So much fun. A different spin on all the vampire, supernatural stuff. The characters are great and it’s fun watching all the friendships grow.

This is a good series. I have read and enjoyed it in the written form.

Now, whilst the young lady narrating has a lovely voice, sadly, she has rhythmic speech patterns, which drive me crazy.
For example: Every sentence. Is broken up. Into abnormal pauses. Either for dramatic effect. Or due to. Lack of experience. It gets annoying. Doesn’t it?
