The Redwall books were a staple of my childhood reading. I read them all many times. As an adult listening to the stories on Audible it still immerses the listener completely. It is easy for the listener to build relationships with the nuanced characters. A lovely simple read with surprising depth.

absolutely captivating. I didn't realise it was in 2 parts, but probably from an older cassette production. it's a shame to be charged for only half a book!

the characterisationa of the actors was phenomenal and Jacques' narration superb.

It seems that each Redwall book comes in three parts and this only has the first part. Other versions in Audible have the whole first book. I wish we'd gotten one of the other versions so we could have finished the story. It was a good story though.
