Publisher's Summary

The truth of discovery is on mankind's horizon, a Red Horizon.

For nearly four long years, the world's superpowers have mobilized their people and resources in preparation for the next discovery, Mars.

The race against one another pales in comparison to the inherent dangers of travelling through the vastness of the cosmos, going where mankind has never gone before. Facing the hostile and challenging environment of space, and nations ready to do anything it takes to win, Richard, 'Rock' Crandon pulls his team together in an attempt to reach the alien technology on the red planet first, and discover the intent behind the alien species.

Will mankind tear itself apart in the name of discovery, or will the truth reveal something more sinister, the true intent of the aliens?

Slow plot

Good production quality and superb performance by Mark Boyett. But the first 2/3 of the plot was quite slow, like listening to an administration meeting.

8/10

Mark Boyett delivers as usual the story extremely well... 10/10
I wish there would have been a bit more detail in the story. A repeated space race to Mars is a good and feasable story. The whole China angle though seems to me a bit extreme but hey. I am looking forward to the next installment.

A captivating story

A good story with the usual sci fi warnings of human behaviour and alien intent.
It’s hard to not listen to this in one hit.
I give it the big thumbs up.

Pulp science fiction

Not exactly a good book, reminds me of some of the old pulp fiction books, seems rushed and unfinished but to each his own, i am sure there are a lot of people that would love it, just not do it for me
