Publisher's Summary

A broken man finds a woman worth living for in the new novel in #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan’s Torpedo Ink motorcycle club series.

Kir “Master” Vasiliev doesn’t care whether he lives or dies. He’s a burnt-out shell with no one and nothing but his club. Whatever Torpedo Ink needs, Master will put himself in harm’s way time after time. If he doesn’t make it back, he’s certain everyone will move on just fine.

Investment banker Ambrielle Moore knows her own mind, and she’s not willing to settle for anyone. So when a second-rate gangster and his thugs try to coerce her into marriage—and giving up all of her family’s money—she’s having none of it. Until they turn to cold-blooded murder.

Grieving and enraged, Ambrie is ready to go scorched earth on her captors when Master shows up anticipating a damsel in distress. But Ambrie is nothing like he expected, and everything he never knew he desired...

Brilliant

Ambrielle Moore is in a lot of trouble with a gangster trying to force her into marriage but some saviours come along in the form of Russian assassins, among them Kir ‘Master’ Vasiliev. The moment she sets eyes on him she knows he’s the man she’s been waiting for, now she has to convince him he’s worth something and that she really wants him. What follows is plenty of action with assassins at every turn some after Ambrielle and some after the club leader and during it all the relationship between Ambrielle and Master blossoms into a scorching hot romance with them unable to keep their hands off each other. The story moves at a great pace and kept me interested from beginning to end and I highly recommend it and the series as a whole.

Recovery Road

This is a fantastic book and a credit to the series, they keep getting better. Master has finally met his match, even though he doesn’t want to admit it at first. With the club under fire Ambrie is focused on how she can help after witnessing the death of her parents, but she doesn’t want it at the detriment of Master. As the attempt on the club continues who is a friend or a foe. This is a fantastic book and I enjoyed the narrative as well.
