Publisher's Summary
In Recall Zero (Agent Zero, Book 6), the President’s translator is the only one privy to a secret conversation that can change the world. She is targeted for assassination and hunted down, and Agent Zero, called back into the line of duty, may just be the only one who can save her.
Agent Zero, trying to get his life back in order and to win back the trust of his girls, vows not to return to service. But when he is needed to save the life of this defenseless translator, he can’t say no. Yet the translator, he realizes, is as intriguing as the secrets she keeps, and Zero, on the run with her, just might be falling for her.
What secret is she keeping? Why are the most powerful organizations in the world trying to kill her for it? And will Zero be able to save her in time?
Recall Zero (Book 6) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you listening late into the night. Book 7 in the Agent Zero series will be available soon.
Also available is Jack Mars’ number-one best-selling Luke Stone Thriller series (seven books), which begins with Any Means Necessary.

Fun thriller series...
With his memory now intact, Kent Steele has left the CIA. He’s living with another former agent who is now the director. Meanwhile he’s put on a few pounds and is loosing the sharpness he would need to be out in the field. That’s when he gets a call from a former acquaintance that her sister needs his help. Her sister is a translator who was in on a clandestine meeting at the White House between the US President and the President of Russia. The talk was treasonous and she knows she must get away before the President has her killed. She calls Kent Steele/Agent Zero. And reluctantly they’re off and running in this action packed, globe trotting thriller. Good plot based, fun and entertaining book. Brian Callanan does a great job narrating. Recommended light listening. If you found this review helpful please indicate so. Thank You.

Recall Zero
This book was based upon an EXTREMELY unlikely scenario: The Russian President colluding with the American President, and using an interpreter whom nobody knew to translate the scheme! Seriously? Wouldn't the Russian President bring his own translator to a top secret meeting instead of trusting an unknown interpreter to keep her mouth shut?? Secondly, there were more technical errors that distracted me from the story, i.e., 'bullets sparking off of the pavement and cars'. Copper jacketed bullets do not spark! Lastly, the narrator, Brian Callanan, just doesn't have the range of voices and accents to do the story justice. This book was a disappointment.

Zero Series Jumps the Shark?
I listen to/read way more political thrillers than I like to admit. Sometimes its hard for me to distinguish one BAMF lead in one series from the BAMF lead in the other. The Zero series is fun in part because the protagonist is fairly unique. When you listen to these kinds of books, you have to suspend reality to an extent. I always do that, but even with that Recall Zero's absurdity was very distracting. And major plot points are just sort of glossed over or skipped. I just found myself groaning and rolling my eyes. And not only that, but it seems like there was almost no fact-checking (this may be minor but it talks about the Senate impeaching the President...I mean, I get that the average Joe thinks that's how impeachment works, but come on...in a political thriller how does that get printed?). *Spoilers Ahead* If you've read the prior books of the series, you know that the premise of books 4 and 5 included a conspiracy throughout the executive branch colluding with special interests to start a war, and while the president wasn't involved basically every other high ranking official was (and a number of high ranking military officials). That was fine in those books, but the premise in book 6 that the anti-corruption candidate who replaced the former president is now colluding with Russia and going to pull the US out of NATO is just a bridge too damn far. Everything relating to his daughters, love interest(s), and everything else is just so unbelievable, as well. It was just incredibly distracting.

The series is interesting however
This narrator presents the women’s voices as mechanical and disjointed. It distracts from the presentation. Maria’s voice is particularly difficult to listen to. In regards to the content, the storyline involving the children has been disturbing throughout the series so far. I will continue with the series in typed book form

Notthe best in series
I have listened to the whole Zero series. I’ve enjoyed all of them. This one felt more like a soap opera type story. I think I was disappointed that Zero’s daughters were not a part of his daily adventures. For me it didn’t “fit” the series.
