Publisher's Summary

"You will not sleep until you are finished with Agent Zero. A superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. The description of the action scenes transport us into a reality that is almost like sitting in a movie theater with surround sound and 3D (it would make an incredible Hollywood movie). I can hardly wait for the sequel.” (Roberto Mattos, Books and Movie Reviews)

Decoy Zero is book eight in the number one best-selling Agent Zero series, which begins with Agent Zero (book one).

A new, high-tech rail gun is invented, with a capability of firing an indefensible missile, seven times the speed of sound - the fate of America is at risk. Who or what is the target? And who will be behind its launch?

In a mad race against time, Agent Zero must use all of his skills to track down the source of this unstoppable weapon and figure out its destination before it is too late.

Yet at the same time, Zero learns of a shocking new development in his mental condition, one that might sideline him for good. Can he save the world and can he save himself?

Decoy Zero (book eight) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you listening late into the night.

Also available is Jack Mars’ number one best-selling Luke Stone thriller series (seven books), which begins with Any Means Necessary (book one)!

My least favorite Agent Zero book.

I’ve listened to all of the books in the series up to this point, but I think I’m stopping here. I’m not sure why, but it looks like Zero is going PG. In almost every encounter in this book, it’s almost as if Zero is trying not to fight in the manner he should given his job. Why are he and Maria suddenly shooting the bad guys in the leg and letting them live while being pursued through hostile areas? Are they afraid of killing a terrorist?

There are instances in this book that just made me cringe from tactical standpoint, even when suspending disbelief. I spent years in the Army, and although I wasn’t some super-secret ninja squirrel commando guy, I can tell you that if you’re engaged by multiple hostiles and fighting back, you’re not going to try to adjust fire to minimize harm to the enemy. That’s just stupid, and I don’t understand why Zero has suddenly gone soft.

All that said, if you want to read some incredible military/clandestine thriller books written by an actual operator, read the Pike Logan series by Brad Taylor, and hold onto your ***, because the guy writes circles around just about everyone I’ve come across. That includes Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, and others. Get some.

Not worth a credit

I’ve listened to all the Agent Zero books. This was the least enjoyable of them all. I think it had mostly to do with the narrator, who made agents zero sound like one of the Hardy boys. The voices were just horrible. I’m returning it.

Couldn't get past the narrator

I typically like agent zero novels but I couldn't get past the narrator. His character voices reminded me of a teenage cartoon. The accents of each character sound like a 60s sci-fi television show. I wish he would've read the entire book in in his normal voice.

Possibly the best book in the series so far!

I enjoyed this book the best so far in the Agent Zero series of books. Looking forward to the events hinted at in the ending of this book's storyline.
