Zum Saisonstart sucht der Zirkus dringend nach Ersatz für einen verletzten Trapezkünstler. Deshalb wird Nolan kurzerhand als Akrobat eingestellt. Seine Partnerin: Yara Grenaldi, Tochter des Zirkusdirektors und zunächst alles andere als begeistert von der Idee, mit einem Laien zusammenzuarbeiten.
