About this listen

Special Note: Please listen to Quicksilver before going behind the scenes with Kingfisher! Or risk being flung into the middle of the battle.

Previously only available on Callie Hart's website, these scenes (written from Kingfisher's point of view rather than Saeris') are now brought to life in audio by popular demand. The scenes included are "The Gates (Parts 1 & 2)" and "The Fox. The Boots. The Dress."

Narrated in duet style.

Kingfisher can do no wrong

Like me, I'm sure most people have already read these bonus chapters, buuut there was really no world where I wouldn't be listening to this on audio. Anthony Palmini starts talking as Kingfisher and I lose all thought. Fisher can growl at me anyyyy day 🫠

Don't read this unless you've read Quicksilver or it probably won't make sense. These chapters focus more of Fisher's backstory with the battle at Ajun gate and a snippet when he's at home and in still in denial about Saeris.

This was just a tease and now I'm dying for Brimstone even more than I already was. Is it November yet?

Narration is perfection

The narration was perfection. Kingfisher was captured perfectly. I’m sad there is not yet any further Kingfisher POV chapters.

Anthony Palmini never disappoints as Kingfisher!

I have found a lot of short books from series have felt disconnected and that was because the voice actors (although cast the same) sounded different or off, like they had forgotten that characters voice or tone.
Anthony Palmini did a wonderful job at keeping this character alive and true. And of course, we wouldn't have such amazing depth and description if it wasn't for Callie Harts writing. Can't wait for Brimstone in November! Only gave it 4 starts for story because it was too short and I'll always want more of this series!

not worth the hype

was so excited when I saw this! thought we'd get a tonne of juicy thoughts and feelings from Kingfisher. but most of the story turned out to be a retelling of a time before Saeris and there was about 15 minutes of Searis being around. very disappointing, I was expecting spiciness!
