About this listen

FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF LOST IN TIME

At CERN, a scientist has just made an incredible discovery—a breakthrough that may answer the deepest questions about human existence.

But what he's found is far more dangerous than he ever imagined.

Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio.

Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

As Ty peels back the layers of his discovery, he learns that what he's found isn't what he thought it was. The encoded message is far more profound. It may alter our understanding of human existence and the universe.

But Ty is not the only one looking for it. Someone has been following his research for a long time. And they'll do anything to prevent him from unravelling what is being broadcast by the quantum radio...

Because the first one to discover the truth may well control the future.

3.5/5

Really liked the fact that the premises were based on scientific possibility and developed into futuristic possibilities.

The story was developed in an interesting and compelling way .

Ray Porter unsurprisingly does a fantastic job.
Honestly I listened to this because of Ray, Story is ok but seems a little b grade Dennis E Taylor and the ending into a sell for a series is a bit cringe. But I enjoyed it all the same.

Worth the listen

I'm really becoming a fan of Ray Barlow the narrator of this book he's really starting to grow on me. Having listened to him on the Joseph Bridgeman series I got this audio book purely on the fact he was the narrator. The book starts well and builds an interesting idea then takes a weird turn and the later part is soso the ending is okay but only saves it if future books are better. I will likely try the next book in the series and if it's as good as the first part of the book then I'll keep listening otherwise plenty of good listens to try instead. Worth a listen then decide for yourself if worth going on with.

liked it but.....

Sometimes a little predictable, but not often. Fighting Nazis in the multiverse now has a weird tone given where the USA has now gone, but I found this book very enjoyable.

An interesting start, can't wait for the 2nd book
