About this listen
Maddie Clark seeks out Private Investigator Dev Haskell in The Spot bar. They had a short term relationship years earlier. Now Maddie owns a number of barbecue restaurants and she'd like Dev to provide security at an event. He accepts the job.
Two days after the event he's contacted by Maddie. Someone has kidnapped her dog, Banshee, a Samoyed and her six puppies. Each puppy is valued at $7000. Dev begins the investigation and along the way takes a young ne'er-do-well on board to try and get him straightened out. A lot of laughs, a little heartbreak, and a great story!
Shortlisted for the 2023 Silver Falchion Award.
