About this listen

I've never been in love. I've never had an orgasm, but I've faked plenty. I want to experience love. Real, passionate love. I don't want to die.

It's funny what blurts out of your mouth when the plane you're on is going down, and I didn't hold back with my seat mate when my plane decided to crash. My hysterical confessions didn't faze the muscular stranger that sat beside me. In fact, he promised if we survived, he'd give me my first orgasm.

We survived. I came. And then he left without telling me who he was.

On the first day of my job, I stood in front of the Vancouver Wolves hockey team and called out a number. #33. Imagine my shock when he skated forward.

Max is an incredible hockey player, whose wild, out-of-control antics have almost derailed his career. So many secrets shroud his past and continue to threaten his future. Now he's my secret. And that secret could ruin everything.

Contains mature themes.

I was expecting an exciting hockey romance but the narrator definitely let this down. She sounded mechanical and I felt like I was back at school listening to someone droning on from a text book.
The story itself was okay, but I’m definitely happy that this was included in my membership and I didn’t waste money buying this one

This story was a bit chaotic and quite long - there was so much going on at times that it was hard to keep up, and honestly the narration fell a bit flat in certain areas. Max and Rory were cute, but their story got a bit lost in the midst of everything going on.

Kind of average

Easy listening a good cleaning house distraction. I struggled a little with the Max voice and the flipping between Me or Max messages at times.

I'm used to dual narrator's and even though Madeleine did a great job, her male voice made the hero sound dumb. it started to draw out a bit too long and I seriously wanted Rory to grow a set and tell her dad where to get off. it frustrated me a bit. also hero's POV would have been so much better so we understNd his silence instead of asking the question of why is he acting so docile.
all in all, ok but not into this author or solo narrator

didn't quite do it for me

A great light romance with a decent story line that will have you hooked from the start.

Hooked from chapter 1
