Abraham... had a great promise from God. He then entered the Promised Land while it was in drought, discovered that the place God promised him was filled with giants, & had to wait 25 years for Isaac to be born. Joseph... had a dream of being a ruler while in his youth. He was then sold into slavery, accused of rape, & ended up in prison for a long time. David... got anointed king in his late teens. He then slayed Goliath, was appointed a leader in the king's army, & built a name for himself... only to become an international fugitive who lived in the caves of the wilderness for many years.

Paul... had a miracle experience with the resurrected Savior. He was then appointed to carry the Gospel to the gentile world, had the greatest revelation in history, & preached on freedom in Christ... all while he was imprisoned much of the time. Theme... they ALL suffered greatly for the sake of His Name. They all followed The Lord... saw unique favor early on in life... then ended up going through immense trials until the Promises God had given them... came to fruition. However, they didn't let it stop them from declaring... the Goodness of God, the Truth He shared with them along the way, & the certainty of His Faithfulness to His Word. They didn't wait to get out of their dark seasons... they Prophesied From Their Chains!
