About this listen
The second installment of the bestselling paranormal/fantasy romance from Sadie Kincaid.
But there is one who can save the fates of all.
For the child borne of fire and blood,
Shall be our ruin or our redemption.
An ancient prophecy. A betrayal so deep it will echo through eternity.
Ophelia Hart is no ordinary elementai. In fact, she is extraordinary in every single way there is.
And now that she knows her true heritage and has bonded to the most powerful vampire who ever lived, and the three ruthless vampires he sired, she wonders if she might finally know some true happiness. It seems at last within her reach—so long as the truth of her identity remains a closely guarded secret.
But secrets can’t remain so forever. Ophelia must learn to harness the magical abilities she’s awakened before the rest of the world discovers who she really is. And although her four bonded mates will do all in their power to protect her, there are forces at work that even they cannot fathom.
Destiny beckons, but betrayal lurks just around the corner. And debts will be settled for oaths that are PROMISED IN BLOOD.
Please note: Promised in Blood ends in a cliffhanger, but Book 3 in the trilogy will have the HEA you’re waiting for.

The intensity Joe Arden brings to his role is absolutely everything and I will forever be thankful I listened to this story.

So far this series has lacked close to everything as there is no real character or world building, the storyline itself is nonexistent and yet this was book 2??? 🤦🏻♀️
This was much like the first book only every second chapter was a different yet the same spice scene. I love me some spice but this was over done and tacky as anything 🙄
The FMC cries at the slightest sign of anger and professor Alexandros was even more of a booger. Honestly he annoyed me every time he opened his mouth and was the biggest hypocrite when it came to those boys and her.
I 100% HATED the audiobooks so if you’re thinking about listening to them please don’t as Joe Arden absolutely destroys it with his voldemort voice.💀🪦
The audiobook isn’t out for book 3 and even if it was, there is no way I would listen to it. I’m going to read it on kindle because I want to know what happens and if I get a different vibe.
The only positive thing I have to say is that the nickname ‘cupcake’ was used a handful of times compared to the 6482726483 times in book 1… thank the lord 🙏🏼

Maybe it is because they are trying to go with the new favorite genre and break into the supernatural/romantasy genre after writing predominantly mafia-esque "dark" romance (which you can feel throughout this series), but for me the plot and characters lack depth, with insta-love from all parties...
The spice is mediocre at best - very repetative and the frequent and insta-O's for the main female with barely any work are way OTT...Maybe im just jaded with the "genre" in general but I dunno...
It's just barely ok - repetitive and unimaginative
