Van Dusen als Vertreter der Vernunft durchschaut schnell das ganze Theater, findet sich aber zum Schluss gefesselt auf den Schienen vor dem heranrasenden Express - und wäre nicht Mr. Hatch und seine Leidenschaft für Zigarren, wäre es ihm übel ergangen.
