Understanding the feelings and position of a rape victim
Its amazing to experience the rape victims journey. Its not premeditated and its so traumatic, you dont see it coming and its life changing. A good insight into a justice system fraught with bias against the victim

Just wonderful.
Strong message that advocates change within the legal system on how we deal with rape victims. this book gets to the grit of how we all judge, assume, and presume women should behave while men escape accountability under patriarchal entitlement. Change must happen. This book made me angry. Brilliant.

Authenticity
I am a 65 year old man and this story is as good as it gets. The detailed description of feelings following rape and the failings of the legal system are so well delivered that I believe this should be mandatory reading for all.

Incredible
This was a powerful book. Brilliantly written and outstanding narration. The story of a defence barrister raped by a colleague and her step by step growth as she battles the system, people who were once friends and cynical colleagues. Incredible.
