Would you try another book written by Jane Austen or narrated by Emma Messenger?

I added this to my library last year and only just got around to listening to it.... what a total shock it was. Why oh why do americans try to do the english narration. If you can't pronounce words correctly then why take on something so English as the work of Jane Austen? Seriously? This is painful. Then there is the totally RAISED decibels of Mrs Bennet that made this unbearable to listen to.
I am deleting this from my library as it is too horrible to listen to.

This beautiful classic was ruined by the constant near hysterical narration. A shrill performance that was exhausting to listen to.
